I am a painter, printmaker, and assemblage artist. My paintings and prints are figurative-abstract. They come from observation/drawing of everyday things. Examples of objects abstracted from: shoes, shells, hats, and boats. These things transform into a vocabulary of shapes and forms. My latest work is with found objects which are glued to surfaces such as kitchen cupboards, and then painted or marked with paint sticks, graphite, and mixed media.
